is she clipping the back of her fronts with her back hooves? (having brain cramp, cant think of the right term here) there are some kinda little heel wraps you can put on her to help, some are bell boots I think? I know other brands make some kinda neoprene wrap that would probably work too, for horses that have a big overstride.

yeah, that's what she's doing. i couldn't think of the word either..lol.. she only does it once in a while on the lunge line with me but it looks like she may have done this worse before i got her. it's when she's not paying attention and just trying to kinda rocket around and be a big fat stubborn mare. right now she's working in barrier boots anyway due to lack of hoof growth so we'll see where that takes us.
