Got a pony cart!!!

Well, I did it. Hubby's not too happy with me, but honestly I could not help myself.
My MIL has two minis and a mini colt (she gave him to my daughter for Christmas!). My daughter dreams of driving the fat mini, and eventually her colt. So when I saw a pony cart for sale locally (on ebay, tho) I put in a bid for fun. I won the pony cart for $46. Not a typo. Needs tires, paint. $46. Now I just need a mini harness! Anyone have one they want to part with???

Hey, have you tried rhythm beads on your horse???? We did a few for Christmas, and my Arab LOVES them! Figured they would scare the **** out of him, actually!

Actually, I'm making rhythm beads! :) I really love them, and I'm making a set as a gift for a friend right now. Haven't tried them out on any of my pony friends, yet.

Great price on the cart! I don't know anyone with a mini harness to help you out but I will say if you can get leather...not nylon the nylon can really cause rubbing issues. If the cart just needs tires you are lucky...if the wheels need replacing that can get a little pricier...on some you can use bike wheels...but I prefer the heavy duty ones made for carts and they can run about $100 a piece. Paint is cheap and easy though...AND you can also redo the seats usually for pretty cheap with foam and a scrap of fabric or vinyl. Your daughter will love driving...it's lots of fun!!!
