EventGirl and The Zeus Moose Training for Upcomming Events

HEY GUYS!!

Well, today I had A FLIPPIN BLAST with Linda (Chaz's Mother...soon to be Mother In Law) and his Aunt Kris. We went out onto the back property that belongs to Linda and Craig (Chaz's Parents) and jumped across their home made Cross Country Course.

IT WAS A HOOT!! Linda and Kris took Vids and Pictures of us today......

Here is Zeus and I doing a 2'7" Jump:

Here we are doing a 2'0" Brick Wall. It was a bit higher actually, when you approach and take off, you are much lower down...which means you are jumping up to another level....did I explain that right?? DUH...stupid Head Cold

Here is a real cool Line that we did. There are 7 - 8 all together in a row. About a Stride and a bit inbetween each. It was funny, because Linda went first on Lucy, and then Zeus and I followed....and after the 4th jump, he pulled his head down so low, I lost my reins.

We are approaching the 5th jump, reinless.....he finnished the line for me. WHEW...turned into a survival rider there! Cool Line though hey! Shouldn't have lost my reins though.....BAD RIDER!!! SPANKINGS!!

hehe awesome shots... I love schooling a cross country course... have only done it twice so far... but it's so much fun and my horse loved the change of scenery... maybe when my filly is older we'll get to do some of that!

OK!! I have to re-do the video clips. I couldn't find the one I was looking for and kept reposting ones I already posted. Stupid videos *shakes fist*

Here is Aunt Kris doing that 7 - 8 jump line. I was stading between jump 5 & 6...so it was cut short. They did the first few jumps instead of continueing on.....even if they wanted to...zeus and I were in the way..lol

Really cool shots!!! I love the jumping line you set up with the crossrails. Thats a good idea! Really a workout dont you think though?? lol

Thanks guys! I appreciate it!! I love Cross Country and you are right, a horse sure does enjoy the freedom of the outdoors!

It is a hoot, and whomever has never tried it...you have to!

I would love to get to do it, buuut I don't know of anywhere arond here that has a cross counrty course...

That Line that I recorded Aunt Kris doing, there were about 7 - 8 jumps, and Aunt Kris said that she'll do the first 4 and then cut out. SOOOooOOO duh duh me, on Zeus, stood between jumps 5 - 6 to record.

So, Aunt Kris got ready, me and my Camera in hand to record.........jump 1, 2, 3, 4....OH OH.....ABBY ISN'T TURNING!!! GET OUTTA THERE!
