So I haven't actually been riding in about six years, but before that I took lessons for three years at a stable near my house. Sadly, the stable was pretty bad. I rode there every week for 3-3.5 years, and I hardly learned anything. Basically all I know is w/t/c. I had heard mentions of changing leads but I was never actually taught how to do it. So I'm wondering, what else is there that I was never taught? There must be more to it than that.

Its really impossible to say what else there is because no one ever stops learning, theres always more to learn, theres always ALOTTTT more to learn, and sometimes when we have bad trainers, we learn how to do things wrong.. Best thing you can do is find a good stable with a great trainer with a great reputation and start learning again..

Well, like Mel said...You are NEVER DONE LEARNING! ROFL!! That is the best way to look at it! Find a local barn and start relearning...that is the best way to go about it...make sure the trainers are reputable and take some more lessons!!

Have FUN!!!
