Hi! Katie here, I'm planning on breeding my thoroughbred mare within september. Do you guyz know of any thoroughbred studs? Here are the requirements for the stud: Must not be over 17 hands! lol. Stud fee must be 2500 dollars or less, must be in washington, idaho, montana, or oregon. Must be VERY fast, athletic, has racing blood in him, or he has raced. The baby is going to be a racehorse, then eventer, then a breeding prospect. Oh, and one more thing, not a white thoroughbred plz. :) Now, can anyone help me out again, (sry) by giving me tips about pregnat mares or them giving birth? Thanks a TON you guyz, you always give me help. :) Thx a lot, Bye!

Do you have breeding friends in the racing industry you can talk to. We tried the racing scene but had originally bred for a sport horse.
LAter new friends we had met gave us some interesting insites on potential stallions based on the mares bloodline.
I would talk to some pros in the bloodline industry and see what they recomend.

If you are looking for a racehorse sire, you way want to check out the 2006 stud directory! Its for ONLY racing thoroughbreds. I got mine from The Thoroughbred Times.
